make water your beverage of choice;
shift toward plant-based foods as your primary food source;
increase your intake of vegetables;
reduce your intake of animal-based food products;
for assurance that you aren't missing something, research and locate a plant-based multivitamin-multimineral supplement;
begin a daily program of moving your joints and using your muscles.
be aware; listen to your own body, and figure out the right thing.
don't try to go too fast - none of us got this way overnight.
be persistant. We have the capacity to change, and our body will rise to what we ask of it.
ask questions, and get help when you need it.
Remember, each of the 6 billion of us is unique and different.
